Enough!
Im frequently asked why some of Senator Clinton’s supporters are so angry at the media’s portrayal of her.
Here is one example, that ocurred just this afternoon.
Comparing Hillary Clinton to a psychotic killer; the stereotypical “scorned woman,” is a sexist outrage. Enough.

The press makes it about the Clinton’s then blames the Clinton’s.
Why do you think we stopped watching CNN. They are just as bad as MSNBC.
Yes we had to turn to Fox…getting to where they aren’t so bad. Some of them are fair and balanced. Not really anyone left to trust anymore. Most give an opinion and act like it is news.
Isn’t that a Republican consultant? You can’t blame the generic “media” for everything that is said negative towards Hillary Clinton by anyone who comes on.
But I also find this anger and pain ironic considering you now work for Fox News who has been consistent in their trashing of Obama and his wife, as well as just about all other Democrats…in fact, they were the most negative towards Hillary Clinton until they realized Obama would be the nominee and they decided they would stoke Democratic resentment by attacking him and supporting her.

Howard: Is it lost on you that this is coming from a GOP hack trying to start shit in the midst of a concerted attempt by McCain and his supporters to bounce disgruntled Hillary supporters his way? I don’t quite get why you’ve decided to enter this debate moments before the convention begins and right when McCain’s DNC counter-programming appears to consist solely of attempts to flip Hillary’s supporters (between this and the Smother the Hatchet article).
There are plenty of examples of sexually-tinged comments on cable news from the primary season; and plenty about race, too. This guy should’ve been called out as a hack here, but apparently that’s above the pay grade of anyone in cable news. The fact is, if Hillary were a man, no one would’ve been asking if she had these conniving sorts of plans in the same way. If Barack weren’t black, no one would be questioning whether he could win white votes or whether he was too foreign to win (the only evidence you need of that is that no one talks of McCain’s foreign birth, attending 20 schools growing up, etc).
I imagine the question you get is rarely why you’re mad or that the questioner denies that sexist portrayals of your candidate were frequent, but rather whether you genuinely think the media’s often sexist portrayal of Hillary Clinton is at the root of her loss.
Given that you personally appeared on Morning Joe on MSNBC up to a few times a week throughout the primary season and rarely if ever brought up this outrage (which seems to center around that network), it’s hard to see this as anything other than misplaced blame after the fact.
Agree with Sean above…
Why post this condemnation of the “media” when your example is just some right-wing hack.
You know people pay attention to what you say on this topic, and you’re smart enough to know that it’ll be used against Obama in some way.
And especially on the first day of the Convention. And especially after already “confirming” to the media today that there is a rift with Bill Clinton.
C’mon, man. Let’s get together and beat McCain in November. As Bill himself said, there will be time to let it all out — after the election.
Sean,
MSNBC was the most negative against Clinton not Fox.
It’s not a sexist outrage, it’s the truth. It is the Clinton’s sense of entitlement that is outrageous. She needs to go away.

Alex Castellanos - a legend in GOP advertising. “…until they realized Obama would be the nominee and they decided they would stoke Democratic resentment by attacking him and supporting her.” You drank the Kool Aid, huh? Fox News provided the fairest coverage to Sen. Clinton during the primary. She even admitted it to O’Reilly. Come on, Howard, back me up on this one.

Can we at least stipulate that the Obama campaign had nothing to do with cable news sucking and putting on Republican hacks like Alex Castellanos?
